Les Gorges du Durnand, located in Bovernier, Switzerland, are a breathtaking natural spectacle that has been captivating visitors since their establishment in 1877. Renovated in 1987, they are now recognized as one of the ten most beautiful gorges in Europe. Stretching approximately 1 kilometer, the visible part of the Gorges du Durnand can be accessed via a charming path adorned with blueberries and wild strawberries, before transforming into a network of suspended wooden walkways and stairs (a total of 330 steps).

These enchanting structures provide visitors with mesmerizing views of the cascades below, as the turbulent waters of the Durnand River rush and tumble over 14 impressive waterfalls. While exploring the gorges, the dark cliffs above contrast against the sky's thin blue ribbon. The entire walk takes about 1 hour, and the experience is truly magical.
