GORO Development

GORO Development is a Ukrainian investment and development company within OKKO Group, established to create hospitality and recreational infrastructure, including the GORO Mountain Resort in the Carpathians. Drawing on OKKO Group’s experience in development, property management and complex construction, the company brings together specialists in architecture, engineering, marketing, commercial operations and project management.

Its approach, described as organic development, aims to integrate architecture with the natural landscape, use natural materials and preserve open space through low-density construction. GORO Development’s flagship project is a planned all-season mountain resort spanning more than 800 hectares, with 25 hotels and 5,150 rooms. The company’s role includes developing architectural concepts, attracting private investment, shaping the resort’s recreational and functional offering, and overseeing construction.

The first phase includes nine hotels and a welcome centre. Planned hotel concepts include Active, with dining, retail and leisure facilities; Business, with conference and coworking spaces; and Chill, featuring wellness amenities and an infinity pool.
