About Goro'S
Starting with intricately carved leather bags and belts, Takahashi later developed original brass fittings and expanded into silverwork. In 1972, he opened goro’s on Omotesando, where the brand’s only official shop remains today. His connection with Lakota culture and the name Yellow Eagle he received became enduring inspirations for his designs, especially the eagle motif.
The brand’s handcrafted offerings include eagle pendants, feather pieces, conchos, buckles, rings, bracelets, leather goods, and other accessories. Its work is produced and safeguarded by the goro’s family, a group of family members and trusted staff who continue Takahashi’s legacy. goro’s emphasizes in-person sales and customer relationships; its official products are sold only at its Tokyo shop, with no branches, authorized retailers, or online sales. The shop also keeps records of purchases, orders, and repairs. Through its website, goro’s shares information about its history, schedules, and customer visits, and warns that products sold elsewhere are not recognized as authentic.
