Goshin Karate

Goshin Karate is a martial arts and fitness studio in Cologne-Lindenthal, offering traditional karate, practical self-defense and functional training for children aged seven and older, teenagers and adults. Its approach combines physical training with personal development, aiming to build strength, confidence, concentration and respect without unnecessary performance pressure. Classes welcome beginners, returning students and people from other karate styles, with instruction adapted to different ages and experience levels.

Children’s courses focus on confidence, concentration and respect in a supportive environment, while teen training develops self-defense skills, strength and body awareness. Adult classes provide an opportunity to improve fitness, relieve stress and build practical skills. The studio also offers Infinity-8, a 30-minute functional full-body workout using eight timed exercise stations to train strength, endurance, coordination and core stability.

Led by Jake Wüst, a karate black belt and state-recognized physiotherapist, the program emphasizes understanding techniques and applying them in kata, partner practice and self-defense.
