Gothenburg Investment Banking Society (GIBS) is an independent student organisation based in Gothenburg, Sweden, which provides a platform that helps students to establish contact with investment banks in London and Stockholm. GIBS primarily works towards investment banks with recruitment needs for ambitious students who are interested in working within the realm of international finance. GIBS is tied to the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. Gothenburg Investment Banking Society's vision is to create a platform where students can connect, develop and create a valuable network between themselves and with the firms for their coming career. We aim to provide students with the critical information regarding the culture, linguistics, assessment- and numerical tests. Our main goal is to prepare our members as much as possible for their forthcoming recruitment process.
