五島リトリートRay

GOTO RETREAT ray by Onko Chishin is a luxury resort hotel on Fukue Island in Japan’s Goto Islands, offering a tranquil stay shaped by the region’s natural beauty, history, and culture. The hotel has 26 rooms across five types, each with panoramic ocean views and a private open-air hot spring bath. Guests can also enjoy the islands’ naturally occurring high-temperature spring water in an outdoor bath overlooking the horizon.

The dining experience centers on Japanese kaiseki cuisine, featuring seasonal ingredients from Goto and dishes inspired by local landscapes, traditions, and history. Spa treatments draw on the energy of the islands, including Goto camellia, to support relaxation and well-being. Activities include cycling, cruises, golf, stained-glass workshops, oil pressing, and traditional folk music. The property also offers a shop, terrace, bar, and meditation room, with interiors by designer Yukio Hashimoto and crafts by local makers. Located within Saikai National Park, the hotel provides access to island scenery and historic churches associated with the Hidden Christian Sites of Nagasaki and the Amakusa Region.
