Die Deutsch-Oesterreichische-Schweizer Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) ist der weltweit zweitgrößte Zusammenschluss von Sportorthopäden und Sporttraumatologen. Sie ist die erste Adresse in der Versorgung von Sportverletzungen und damit ein Garant für Seriosität, Kompetenz, Erfahrung sowie Beratungsstärke und Qualität in der sporttraumatologischen Versorgung. Leitbild der GOTS Die Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) fördert die Aus-und Weiterbildung, die Forschung sowie den nationalen und internationalen Informationsaustausch unter sportorthopädisch und sporttraumatologisch tätigen Medizinern und Berufsgruppen angrenzender Fachgebiete. Ihr Ziel ist es, das Verständnis von sportlicher Belastung und Verletzungen zu verbessern, um die muskuloskelettale Funktion und Lebensqualität zu erhalten.

About GOTS e.V.
The Deutsch-österreichisch-schweizerische Gesellschaft für Orthopädisch-Traumatologische Sportmedizin (GOTS) is the world's second largest association of sports orthopedists and sports traumatologists. They are the go-to organization for the treatment of sports injuries, offering a guarantee of professionalism, expertise, experience, consultation skills, and quality in sports traumatology. The GOTS promotes education, research, and international exchange among sports orthopedic and sports traumatology professionals and related disciplines.
Their goal is to improve the understanding of sports activities and injuries in order to preserve musculoskeletal function and quality of life. As part of their educational initiative, GOTS offers an ongoing webinar series called "Ortho SportsMed" that covers orthopedic topics in sports medicine and beyond. These online events are aimed at surgeons, orthopedists, sports physicians, trainers, scientists, physiotherapists, and medical students.
