GoudStaete is a Dutch provider of relocatable wooden homes designed for people who need care and want to live close to family. Its mission is to help older people live with dignity, comfort and the warmth of loved ones, in a home that feels personal rather than institutional. The homes are built to order and designed with care needs in mind.
Options include the Vlier at 48 square metres, the Esdoorn at 62 square metres, the Meidoorn at 76 square metres, and custom designs under 100 square metres. GoudStaete offers more than construction: its team provides an initial advice conversation, guides customers through the process, and arranges matters involving the municipality, bank and notary. It then builds and installs the home in the customer’s garden.
The company grew out of Het Woud, a specialist building business whose founders have built distinctive wooden homes across the Netherlands for over 12 years. The homes were developed with Studio Westgeest, which specialises in architecture and interiors, including care settings
