About Digital Transformations for Health Lab
Brand is a research initiative called GHFutures2030 Commission, jointly conducted by The Lancet and Financial Times. This unique collaboration focuses on the topics of digital health and its impact on children and young people, with an emphasis on universal health coverage. The Commission, created in 2019, recently published its final report and recommendations in 2021 after two years of independent deliberation and input from various stakeholders.
The Commissioners, including Co-Chairs Dr. Anurag Agrawal and Professor Ilona Kickbusch, represent a diverse range of sectors and backgrounds. They played a significant role in shaping the Commission's report by providing guidance and contributing ideas.
The Secretariat, hosted by the Global Health Centre, supported the Commission's work by conducting research, writing, and organizing logistics. Funding for the Commission comes from Fondation Botnar, The Children's Investment Fund Foundation, The Wellcome Trust, and other grants and partnerships. Its goal is to explore the intersection of digital health, artificial intelligence, and frontier technologies, ensuring the inclusion of youth perspectives and addressing the pressing health challenges of the digital age
