About Governance Lab
Founded by the Daayitwa Abhiyaan initiative, Governance Lab (GovLab) is a platform dedicated to the sustainable development of Nepal. It brings together experienced researchers, policymakers, and other partners to influence research-driven national policies and promote evidence-based policy making in Nepal. GovLab focuses on various policy areas, including youth employment, access to investment, women's economic empowerment, entrepreneurship ecosystem, and governance reform.
The team at GovLab is led by Dr. Pukar Malla, a leadership coach and innovation specialist, and Nisha Onta, a gender and climate change expert. They are joined by dedicated individuals like Salina Bhattarai, who coordinates research efforts, and Medha Joshi, who manages research projects.
With a mission to foster inclusive economic growth, strengthen governance, and build resilience in local communities, GovLab aims to transform social challenges into innovative opportunities in Nepal
