GPAHouston, also known as Greyhound Pets of America – Houston, is a Texas-based chapter of the national non-profit organization GPA. With a rich history dating back to 1988, GPA-Houston has been at the forefront of finding responsible and loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. Boasting over 100,000 successful adoptions across the country, GPA National has established itself as a leader in greyhound adoption.
Although GPA-Houston has transitioned into a non-adoption support group, their commitment to the welfare of greyhounds remains steadfast. Volunteers are readily available to provide guidance and assistance to greyhound owners in the community. Ensuring the safety and well-being of these noble dogs remains their top priority.
As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity, GPA-Houston operates with transparency and accountability.
