About GPPAC Peacebuilders
GPPAC Peacebuilders is a global network led by civil society organizations (CSOs) that actively works to prevent violent conflict and build more peaceful societies. With 15 regional networks, each with its own priorities and agendas, GPPAC focuses on conflict prevention and peacebuilding specific to each environment. The International Steering Group, representing each region, jointly determines the network's global agenda and approach.
GPPAC envisions a world where violence and armed conflicts are prevented and resolved through peaceful means, based on justice, gender equity, sustainable development, and human security for all. They strive to shift the paradigm from reaction to prevention by linking civil society with relevant actors at the local, national, regional, and international levels. GPPAC offers expertise in conflict prevention and peacebuilding and collaborates with various stakeholders to bring about fundamental change.
