About GPRviewer
GPRviewer is an online software tool from MDS – Le Matériel de Sondage for viewing and analyzing ground-penetrating radar data. Designed for files in. DZT format, it supports data from equipment including Flex NX, NX25, NX15, StructureScan XT/LXT, Mini, UtilityScan DF, UtilityScan Compact, SIR 3000 and SIR 4000.
Users can adjust color maps, zoom and gain, review radargrams, and export images as PNG. The service also offers AI-assisted picking and automatic estimation of a dielectric constant; these advanced features and sharing of picks are associated with a Pro subscription. GPRviewer runs in a web browser, processing radar files locally rather than storing them on its servers, while selected information may be shared with MDS to improve its AI model when users provide consent.
The software is presented as an aid to visualization and analysis, not a substitute for professional geophysical interpretation. MDS, identified as the service’s publisher, provides account-based access to the application, with registration and login available through the site
