Grabels Aïkido is a traditional martial arts association based in Grabels, France, where it has practised aikido since 1997. Its dojo welcomes children, teenagers and adults to learn an art centred on non-opposition: practitioners work with a partner’s energy rather than confronting it directly. Alongside physical movement and technique, classes encourage concentration, respect, confidence and stress management.
The association offers children’s classes for ages 7 to 14, as well as classes for adults and teenagers. Sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, with separate Wednesday classes for children and adults. Newcomers can attend free trial classes, and the club has offered open access during September to help prospective members discover the practice before deciding whether to join.
The dojo also hosts workshops and participates in local events, demonstrations and introductory sessions. Its website shares news, practical information, aikido resources and details about the dojo, its teaching and upcoming activities. Grabels Aïkido presents its practice as both a martial discipline and a philosophy, in a welcoming, non-competitive environment where participants can progress at their own pace
