Grabmalkunst

Bargetzi Grabmalkunst GmbH designs and produces gravestones for customers throughout Switzerland, drawing on more than 100 years of experience. The company emphasizes quality, individuality and fair prices, with each memorial handcrafted in its Solothurn atelier. Its range includes gravestones at various price points, as well as family grave memorials, grave slabs, iron crosses, wooden gravestones, grave accessories and gravel coverings. Customers can choose from designs shown online and in the company’s catalogue or request a memorial created according to their own wishes, subject to the possibilities of the selected material.

Bargetzi provides guidance throughout the process, helping families discuss their ideas and select suitable stone. Its sculptors prepare a sketch or photomontage for approval, and the company handles the municipal permission procedure. Work begins once the proposed design is accepted. Visitors can view around 80 memorials at the office and exhibition in Wangen an der Aare, or more than 200 at the Solothurn atelier. Direct purchasing from Swiss and European quarries supports the company’s competitive pricing.
