Grace Cares

Grace Cares is a Lichfield-based, award-winning not-for-profit dedicated to making care more sustainable and supporting people who need care. The organisation collects, rejuvenates and sells pre-loved care equipment to the public, the NHS and care providers, often for less than half its original price. Its range includes bathing, mobility, toileting, fall-prevention and moving-and-handling equipment, as well as beds, furniture and stair lifts. Equipment can also be hired, and the organisation invites donations of care items, funds and time.

Income from equipment sales helps fund hardship grants and support for unpaid caregivers and older people across the UK. Grace Cares also facilitates monthly, care-focused sustainable activities and events, including tea parties and rock-painting sessions. For care providers, it offers sustainability resources, guidance and support, including information on environmental sustainability and ESG. Its work brings together care-sector leaders, members of the public, volunteers and partners to reduce equipment waste and create social value.
