Lifetime Assistance Inc

Lifetime Assistance Inc. supports children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Greater Rochester area. For more than 40 years, the organization has helped people pursue greater independence and participate in their communities, with services delivered across more than 80 locations.

Its programs are tailored to individuals’ goals, needs, and preferences. Residential services and supports help people find and maintain a home of their choice, while community services provide assistance at home and in the community. Day services offer meaningful activities and opportunities to build relationships and take part in community life. Vocational services connect individuals with training and employment opportunities suited to their interests and abilities. Through self-directed services, people can choose their supports, and recreational programs offer activities such as sports, cooking clubs, and social events.

Lifetime Assistance also provides advocacy and resources, and invites community members to support its work through donations, events, and planned giving. The organization employs direct support professionals and other staff, offering training and employee development.
