The GRACE Foundation of New York is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children, teens, adults, and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Based in Staten Island, the foundation focuses on embracing individual needs, educating, strengthening abilities, promoting community inclusion, and helping people reach their potential. Its programs include day habilitation, community habilitation to build skills for greater independence, and on-site respite activities.
GRACE-ful Productions and other community initiatives offer additional opportunities for participation and awareness. The foundation is also developing Nicky’s Kitchen, an inclusive kitchen inspired by Nicholas D’Amora’s legacy. Through partnerships, events, and fundraising, GRACE supports people with autism and their families, and shares participants’ stories through its GRACE On The Street web series.
Its GRACEful Store offers I Can candles and GRACEful Bites & Bark dog treats. The organization also runs a food truck that can be booked for events, hosts community activities, and offers raffles and ticketed events to engage supporters and raise funds
