Gracie Humaita Omaha

Gracie Humaitá Omaha is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and martial arts academy serving Omaha and Papillion from its location in Papillion, Nebraska. The academy teaches the Gracie Humaitá curriculum, combining practical self-defense techniques with fitness and personal growth. Adult classes welcome students at different experience levels, while the children’s program builds confidence, self-discipline, and respect and includes anti-bullying instruction. Classes are divided by age for children ages 3–5, 6–9, and 10–14.

The academy also offers women-only self-defense classes, with evening sessions twice a week and larger workshops several times a year. Individuals and small groups can arrange specialized training or private lessons, and seminars provide opportunities to learn from expert instructors. Gracie Humaitá Omaha emphasizes certified instruction, safe and effective teaching, and a welcoming atmosphere for people of varied backgrounds and fitness levels. Its approach reflects the Gracie Jiu Jitsu legacy, including techniques developed to help practitioners use leverage rather than rely on size or strength.
