Grafkistenmaker

Bastiaan Grafkisten is an artisanal coffin-making business focused on creating solid-wood coffins with care and personal attention. The maker, Gerjan Bastiaan, produces coffins by hand, combining traditional craftsmanship with consideration for each customer’s wishes. The range includes standard coffin models as well as bespoke options for people seeking a more personal design. Customers with a specific request are invited to discuss the possibilities directly, allowing the maker to consider how their preferences can be incorporated into a coffin.

The business presents its work as both involved and handcrafted, with coffin making at the centre of its offering. Bastiaan Grafkisten operates from an atelier at Stoomstraat 4c in Kampen, the Netherlands. For information or to talk through a personal request, customers can contact the business by telephone or email. The website also provides links to news, contact details, related resources and the brand’s Facebook presence. Its straightforward approach is built around a personal conversation and carefully handmade products for a significant occasion.
