Gramsciplan

Gramscis Plan is an independent publishing and educational project exploring Antonio Gramsci’s ideas and their relevance to contemporary politics, philosophy, and society. Its central work, Kant and the Enlightenment, examines the development of Enlightenment thought from 1500 to 1800 and Kant’s rational justification of the democratic republic. The website offers a substantial summary of the book’s second chapter, alongside reading excerpts, reviews, information about planned volumes, and resources on Gramsci and his work. These materials are designed to introduce the project’s core arguments and encourage deeper reading, including as a contribution to debate about democracy and political freedom.

The site also presents the author’s proposals for addressing the climate crisis through civic engagement. A paper and conference presentation outline a transparent, publicly oriented renewable energy sector, supported by open-source software, open technologies, regional planning, and economic activity guided by social and ecological purposes. The project advocates making intellectual work and practical tools available as shared resources, and describes collaboration toward policy proposals as part of this vision.
