About CTGR
The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, one of nine federally recognized tribes in Oregon, is a sovereign tribal community focused on honesty and integrity. Since restoration in 1983, the Tribe has worked to strengthen tribal culture and rebuild institutions. The Chachalu Museum and Cultural Center showcases the rich history of over 30 Tribes and Bands from Oregon.
The Tribal Council and Tribal Court govern the community, ensuring fair resolutions and governance. Various services and departments such as Cultural Resources, Health & Wellness, and Economic Development cater to the needs of Tribal members. Additionally, ongoing projects like the Willamette Falls Project and Grand Ronde 2033 Transportation Projects aim to expand ties, extend services, and diversify the Tribe’s economic base.
