GRANITE STATE ALPACAS

Granite State Alpacas is a New Hampshire farm and retailer built around raising alpacas and sharing their distinctive fiber. Beginning with two alpacas, Tauri and Fiona, the farm has grown its herd and developed a breeding program focused on improving fiber quality and maintaining the animals’ sweet temperaments. The alpacas are valued for their gentle, curious personalities as well as the soft, luxurious fiber they provide.

The farm transforms fiber from its herd into alpaca yarn, felting material, and handmade goods, including hats, scarves, and dryer balls. Its online shop also features products sourced from other U.S. farms and Peru, such as socks, gloves, throws, blankets, and additional home and wardrobe essentials. Visitors can book farm tours to meet the alpacas and learn about them and their sustainable lifestyle. Purchases, visits, and donations help support the herd’s hay, grain, and veterinary care. Granite State Alpacas offers a welcoming way to discover alpaca farming while finding thoughtfully made fiber products for everyday use.
