About Granny Gothards ice cream

Granny Gothards is a proudly British artisan ice cream brand based in Devon, known for handcrafted ice creams and sorbets made with natural ingredients and no artificial shortcuts. Led by owner and managing director Amanda Ringelberg, its small team produces each batch at a SALSA-accredited facility. The company’s Epicurean collection features more than 200 flavours and has received over 100 taste awards.

The brand prioritises ingredient quality and provenance, using milk from Oak Park Dairy’s Jersey and Holstein cows, locally sourced South West cream, eggs from regional hens, natural flavourings and a restrained amount of sugar. Its products are supplied to chefs, restaurants, hotels and luxury caterers in the UK and internationally, and are also available through retail.

Alongside its established range, Granny Gothards offers bespoke flavour development, collaborating with chefs and product development teams to bring distinctive ideas to life. Past creations include Bacon and Maple Syrup ice cream, Pumpkin Pie, Tarragon, Baked Bean and Petit Pois sorbet, and Sage and Onion stuffing ice cream.
