La Gran Parada Dominicana del Bronx is a vibrant celebration that highlights the influence and presence of the Dominican community in the United States. Founded by Felipe Febles, this organization focuses on cultural empowerment and social commitment, uniting the Dominican diaspora through a series of engaging events. Their annual parade, set for July 27, 2025, along the Grand Concourse, serves as the pinnacle of their activities, attracting thousands who come to celebrate Dominican heritage.
In addition to the parade, La Gran Parada Dominicana del Bronx hosts various events throughout the year, including Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, as well as ceremonies honoring the Dominican Independence Day. The organization also promotes community engagement through a beauty pageant, where candidates are presented in multiple stages leading up to the coronation of the queens. Dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and pride, La Gran Parada Dominicana del Bronx continues to build a legacy of cultural significance and community support in the Bronx and beyond.
