Grant Standards Association

Grant Standards Association (GSA) is an independent public association that helps Ukrainian businesses and grant professionals prepare for international funding. It translates donor requirements into plain language and supports organisations in strengthening the systems, documents and processes that funders review. Its approach assesses overall readiness—not just the quality of an application—including governance, compliance, financial control, risk management, evidence and results, and team capacity.

GSA offers readiness assessments, training, individual modules and hands-on support to help businesses organise grant-management processes and prepare documentation for donor review. Specialists can take the Grant Management Best Practice (GMBP) course and exam to earn a personal certificate. Companies can implement a grant management system and seek certification against standard TS 705010-2025. Certificates have unique numbers and can be checked online.

The association also connects businesses with donors, consultants and experts through a partner network. Founded by practitioners with experience in grants, project delivery and certification, GSA aims to help organisations address common weaknesses, build partner confidence and demonstrate reliable management of grant funds.
