GRAPE is an independent and non-governmental research center in applied economics operated by FAME. Our vibrant team consists of talented scientists who strive to conduct research at the highest scientific level, including publishing a series of working papers. The Scientific Council ensures the academic development of the team.

Since our establishment in 2011, GRAPE|FAME has been dedicated to developing research programs in various areas such as economics of inequality, pension systems, efficiency and misallocation, applied macroeconomics, and cultural economics. Our research programs are realized through scientific projects, as we receive funding primarily through grants. We prioritize academic integrity and transparency, openly sharing data and research methodologies.

We also prioritize equality in academia. Our key competences include modeling the consequences of aging, analyzing individual and household data, and conducting field, laboratory, and online experiments. We make efforts to apply our research findings to real-world situations and promote knowledge-based policies.
