About grassland restoration network
The Grassland Restoration Network (GRN) is a collaborative space for individuals working to restore grassland habitats. Founded in 2003 by The Nature Conservancy, the network includes members from various organizations and agencies dedicated to grassland restoration. With a focus on communication, learning, and fostering a restoration culture, GRN aims to share knowledge, address critical gaps, and enhance the quality and quantity of grassland restoration efforts.
Members are encouraged to contribute to the GRN blog, where experiences and insights are shared to advance the field. The network hosts annual workshops for participants to visit restoration sites, discuss techniques, and collaborate on managing prairie ecosystems effectively. Whether you work in the Midwest, Great Plains, or Southeast, the GRN provides a platform to connect with like-minded professionals and contribute to the collective knowledge base for successful grassland restoration.
