of Grassroots Basketball

Warriors Basketball Club is a community-focused basketball organisation in the UK, built around developing players and making the sport accessible. Affiliated with Basketball England and a member of the Solent Area Basketball Association, it also works with Access Sport and supports Grassroots Basketball. The club has more than 500 members, including over 400 juniors, and fields teams in grassroots, regional and national competitions.

Warriors offers a structured player pathway for people at different stages, from their first basketball session to performance-level play and potential National League representation. Its programmes include Warriors Elite boys’ and girls’ teams at U14 and U16 level, an U18 men’s team, and community clubs such as Fareham Falcons, New Forest Novas, Boorley Green Bucks, Gosport Gunners and Whiteley Warriors. The club emphasises player development, quality coaching, progression and an inclusive environment, with opportunities to join through membership and free taster sessions. It also welcomes people interested in coaching, officiating and volunteering, and offers sponsorship opportunities for organisations seeking to support local basketball and connect with its growing community.
