About Grassroots Carbon
Grassroots Carbon is a nature-based soil carbon storage company, providing solutions for businesses looking to reduce their carbon impact. We work with American ranchers to help them profit from storing carbon while connecting them with corporate carbon credit buyers. Our team, including soil scientists, ranchers, software engineers, and entrepreneurs, partners with ranchers to measure carbon storage, offer land management education, and verify and certify carbon credits.
We have already disbursed over $2 million to ranchers and have more than 20 carbon credit buyers. Grassroots Carbon was formed by the merger of Soil Value Exchange and PastureMap, and we issued America's first soil carbon credits in 2022. Our mission is to fundamentally change the approach to carbon storage and become a leading carbon marketplace.
