Dansk Tiroler Grauvieh is Denmark’s official association for the Tiroler Grauvieh cattle breed, working to promote and preserve this robust, versatile breed from the Austrian Alps. Founded in 1993, two years after the first animals were imported to Denmark, the association brings together breeders, cattle enthusiasts and people curious about the breed. Tiroler Grauvieh is valued for its good temperament, hardiness and ability to produce quality milk and meat, and the association notes that the breed suits both conventional and organic farming in Danish conditions.
Members can connect with a nationwide community, exchange knowledge and experience, and take part in cattle shows, meetings and social events.
