Gray Monk Estate Winery is a family-rooted winery in Lake Country, British Columbia, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. Established in 1972, it has helped shape the province’s wine industry through more than 50 years of cool-climate winemaking. Founders George and Trudy Heiss planted Canada’s first Pinot Gris and introduced varietals including Gewürztraminer and Ehrenfelser. Today, Gray Monk continues that legacy by combining tradition, care and innovation to produce award-winning wines inspired by the character of its vineyards.
The winery offers a varied selection of whites, reds, rosé and sparkling wines, including Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot and the Odyssey range. Customers can explore the collection online, use a product finder, or join the wine club for member benefits. At the Lake Country estate, visitors can book tastings and other wine experiences, attend events, and enjoy food and wine at The Lookout Restaurant, where dishes are paired with scenic views. Gray Monk also welcomes guests to discover its history, team and winemaking heritage during a visit.
