GRDN Helper

Garden Helper is a community-first platform that connects homeowners, local service providers, and volunteers to make outdoor care easier and more local. Its browser-based Community Hub lets neighbors join or create groups, share advice, ask for help, recommend providers, lend tools, and organize projects and events such as garden days and cleanups. The service is in beta in New Jersey, with an Android app available and an iPhone version planned.

Homeowners can find identity-verified providers and clearly labeled volunteers, compare quotes, chat directly before committing, and manage seasonal tasks with reminders. Services include lawn mowing and edging, hedge trimming, garden-bed care, weeding, planting, mulching, light pruning, leaf and seasonal cleanup, snow shoveling, pressure washing, house cleaning, and basic handyman help where permitted. Providers can create service portfolios, set their service areas, and receive local introductions without competing in bidding wars. Garden Helper serves communities across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, with launch locations including Metuchen, Hillsborough, and Princeton.
