Great Country Farms is a beloved 400-acre working farm located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia. As a family-owned business, their goal is to provide a unique farm experience while offering the freshest produce to their customers. With roots in Loudoun County since the 1970s, Great Country Farms was established in 1993 by the second generation of the Zurschmeide family.

They initially started with a Community Supported Agriculture Program (CSA), delivering their in-season produce to homes in Alexandria and Arlington. Through innovation and dedication to farming, the farm has thrived, earning recognition from the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce as Agribusiness of the Year in 1996 and 2007. Today, Great Country Farms offers an array of attractions and activities for visitors of all ages.

In addition to their U-Pick offerings, they have a farm market, play area, bakery, picnic venues, and even a winery and craft brewery located on the mountain.
