Great Jobs KC is a nonprofit organization working to expand access to education, workforce training, and well-paying jobs across the Kansas City region. Its goal is to help 50,000 Kansas Citians move into good jobs with benefits by 2032, supporting economic mobility through scholarships, practical resources, and community partnerships.

The organization offers college scholarships for high school juniors and adult learners, as well as a college savings match. Eligible 11th-grade students may receive scholarships of up to $50,000, while adult learners can receive up to $25,000 toward college costs. Great Jobs KC also provides tuition-free, short-term skills training for careers in high-demand fields, with programs serving Kansas City and expanding into Ford County, Kansas, and six Northwest Missouri counties beginning in April 2026.

Scholars can access help with applications, college planning, financial resources, and other barriers to success. Great Jobs KC works with more than 113 community partners and invites donors, volunteers, employers, and community organizations to support its mission.
