Credit Union 1

Great Lakes Federal Credit Union is a Michigan credit union serving members through branches in Bay City and Birch Run. It is merging with Credit Union 1, with the core systems conversion scheduled for April 30, 2027. Until then, existing Great Lakes members can continue using their current accounts and digital banking, making deposits and withdrawals, sending payments, and managing existing loans. Members’ accounts remain federally insured through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.

These include checking and savings accounts, certificates, money market accounts, credit cards, auto and mortgage loans, home equity and personal loans, and financing for recreational vehicles.
