Great Ships is a captivating collection dedicated to maritime history, prominently featuring the postcard and ephemera collection curated by Jeff Newman. A highlight of the collection is its association with the PBS documentary "Sinking the Lusitania," which showcases the significance of ocean liner history. The collection includes vibrant views of historic ships, shedding light on the grandeur of liners such as the Titanic and the renowned "Four-Funneled Liners" that once dominated the North Atlantic.

Following the acquisition of the collection by Omega Stamp & Coin on August 5, 2007, inquiries regarding image use or further details are managed by the organization. Great Ships also incorporates a variety of illustrated items that celebrate maritime milestones, including the famous Blue Riband. The website serves as a comprehensive resource for enthusiasts and researchers, complete with an indexed collection of ships, updates, and site summaries. It is an essential destination for anyone interested in the rich tapestry of nautical history.
