Greek Cat

Greek Cat Welfare Society (UK) is a registered charity and company dedicated to helping sick, injured, stray and feral cats in Greece and the Greek islands. The society works to reduce cruelty and improve cats’ prospects, particularly in areas where animals may face starvation, abandonment or poisoning. Its efforts include supporting neutering campaigns, which help limit the number of kittens born and can make local cat colonies more acceptable to communities.

People can support the society through donations or by joining as online members. Membership is available on monthly, annual or lifetime terms, with one-off or recurring options. Members receive two newsletters a year and can access the society’s newsletters online; subscription income supports its neutering work. The website also provides practical information and advice, including guidance on cat rehoming, responding to an injured cat, and bringing a cat home from Greece. Visitors can read news and newsletters, browse cat-themed items in the shop, and contact the society by email.
