Green Matters, Inc. is a New Jersey-registered charitable organization and 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting students’ efforts to raise awareness of climate change and respond to its impacts. Founded by Kathy Lynch, the organization provided funding for student-centered environmental projects and internships, helping young people contribute to environmental work and community awareness.
Over five years, generous individual donors enabled Green Matters to distribute approximately $150,000 in support. Its work brought the organization together with dedicated students and others committed to environmental causes, while helping fund practical initiatives and learning opportunities. Green Matters is now winding down its operations at the end of 2025.
Founder Kathy Lynch has shared her gratitude to the donors and participants who made the organization’s work possible, and says she will continue working in the environmental field.
