About Green String Network
Green String Network is a social movement dedicated to healing collective traumas and promoting peace within communities. Our team consists of diverse peacebuilders, including psychologists, artists, teachers, community leaders, and individuals with lived experiences. We believe that addressing trauma is crucial in preventing violent behavior, and we use storytelling, art, and embodied practices to help individuals express and process their experiences.
Through our programs, we aim to unlock new ways of thinking, behaving, and feeling, empowering individuals and communities to live fuller and more peaceful lives. We focus on preventing violence in various contexts, such as violent extremism, gender-based violence, and ethnic violence. By promoting resilience and addressing trauma, we strive to build a more peaceful world.
