About GreenUp Switzerland
GreenUp is a Swiss non-profit association that operates as a network across the country, with a focus on inspiring people to adopt a resource-light lifestyle for sustainability. Formerly known as "Umwelt Plattform," GreenUp has its roots in Basel and has expanded its active presence to 6 cities: Basel, Davos, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Zürich, Lugano, and Sion. With a small but dedicated team of young professionals and a vibrant community of volunteers, GreenUp organizes events, workshops, and projects that provide positive experiences to encourage individuals to "green up" their lives.
By promoting a philosophy of "less is more," GreenUp empowers people to simplify their (work) lives and live happier, more connected lives, all while making a positive impact on the planet. Through campaigns, social media, and projects, GreenUp has already reached over 100,000 people and helped 5,000 individuals take action for sustainability.
