About Greenaction
Greenaction for Health and Environmental Justice is a grassroots organization dedicated to fighting for environmental justice and promoting a clean and just future for all. With a mission to protect health and advocate for environmental, social, economic, and climate justice, Greenaction mobilizes community power to bring about meaningful change in government and corporate policies and practices. Their work focuses on a wide range of issues, including zero waste, clean air and water, cleanup of contaminated sites, community empowerment and education, energy and climate justice, and protection of indigenous lands.
They actively collaborate with low-income and working-class urban, rural, and indigenous communities to achieve their goals. Through their efforts, Greenaction has achieved numerous victories in addressing environmental injustices and bringing about policy changes. With a dedicated team of staff and board members, they continue to make a notable impact in communities across Arizona, California, Hawai'i, Native Nations, Indigenous Lands, Utah, and beyond.
