Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO) is a youth-led, gender-balanced advocacy group that focuses on environmental sustainability and community development. Founded in 2014, our organization is dedicated to promoting harmony with nature and observing basic natural laws. We envision a future where humans coexist in a balanced relationship with the natural systems on which they depend.

At GAYO, our work spans various fields, including climate change, circular economy, disaster risk reduction, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy activism. We aim to research and provide solutions to pressing environmental issues through youth empowerment, skills development, and public education. We work directly with local communities, particularly vulnerable groups such as children, youth, and women, who are at higher risk due to social and structural inequalities.
