Green Bank Observatory (GBO) is a national radio astronomy research and education center founded in 1957. Supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation and operated by Associated Universities, Inc., it conducts scientific research and provides facilities and resources for the astronomy community. Its telescopes include the Green Bank Telescope, the 20 Meter Telescope, and the 40 Foot Telescope.
