Green City Kigali is a groundbreaking brand that aims to create a sustainable and affordable neighborhood in Rwanda's capital city, Kigali. With a focus on green urbanization and climate resilience, Green City Kigali is pioneering a new model for urban communities in Africa. The brand's vision is to provide affordable housing for target groups while establishing new standards that can be replicated throughout Rwanda and beyond.

The first stage of the project is a mixed-use pilot development spread across 16 hectares in the Kinyinya Hill area of Gasabo. This pilot will reflect the Rwandan context in terms of culture and environment and tackle challenges such as housing affordability, climate change vulnerability, and urban sprawl. Green City Kigali is committed to making a difference by linking affordable homes with green technologies, taking a holistic approach to sustainable urban development.

The ultimate goal is to create a blueprint for other cities in Africa, setting standards for green housing solutions and inclusive living. With a projected project site of 600 hectares and plans for approximately 30,000 housing units, Green City Kigali has the potential to transform the lives of around 150,000 beneficiaries and create up to 16,000 jobs
