About GREEN COMPOSTING
Green Composting Ltd is a locally-based composting company and environmental consultant that specializes in recycling food scrap and garden waste. We offer clean and convenient composting services to hotels, businesses, organizations, and residential customers throughout Unguja and Pemba Islands in Zanzibar, Tanzania. Zanzibar is renowned for its beautiful tropical gardens and hundreds of hotels.
However, waste disposal and management pose a significant challenge in the region. Most hotels do not have proper waste sorting and recycling practices in place. That's where Green Composting comes in.
We are dedicated to partnering with hotels to ensure proper waste disposal and recycling, specifically targeting food waste and garden waste for composting. Currently, we collect and recycle food waste and garden waste from five hotels, but our goal is to expand and reach more hotels in the future. Additionally, we provide comprehensive waste management solutions, including compost making services, compost supply, landscaping, and waste bin supply.
