Green Epirus Schools is a school-based environmental education and recycling initiative serving the Region of Epirus in Greece. Its aim is to help students build practical recycling habits and contribute to a more sustainable region through the message, “I learn, I sort, I recycle.” The program supports recycling in 80 primary schools, providing participating schools with designated bins and connecting them through a regional network.
Students collect paper, plastic and aluminum separately at school.
