GreenFlag Association, based in Durban, is a leading organization that strives to maintain healthy and safe environments. They provide a standard of measurement that serves as evidence of their efforts in this regard. With the aim of preventing the transmission of Covid-19, GreenFlag Association was established as a partnership between Apex Environmental, a prominent South African environmental health and safety organization, and Supplier Development Initiatives (SDI), an enterprise and development agency.
Similar to the Blue Flag beach status and Tourism Grading Council's star ratings, GreenFlag certification assures clients and customers that a venue is a safe space to visit or work in.
