Green Grass Shop is the online store of Green Grass Design, a proudly South African design studio that creates handcrafted, distinctive gifts and functional products. The brand draws on an eclectic mix of cultural roots and combines conceptual design with practical making. Its products are designed and manufactured in-house using laser-cutting equipment and a range of handwork skills.
The shop offers items for the home and workplace, including coasters, curios, jewellery, children’s products, magnets, map puzzles, party décor and Christmas goods. Customers can also browse the full product range or purchase gift cards. Green Grass Shop provides a custom design service, creating personalised concepts to customer specifications and offering customisation on selected products.
Sustainability is central to the studio’s design process. Products are made from paper, recycled wood and Perspex, with materials chosen to be recyclable and re-recyclable. The team reduces waste by finding uses for even small offcuts and works with recycling partners. Customers may also bring damaged or unused Perspex to the shop for recycling.
