Green Hornets Football

The St. Clair Shores Green Hornets is a youth football and cheerleading organization serving children ages six to thirteen in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Founded in the early 1950s, the organization has a long local history: it began alongside the Black Knights and later incorporated that team as the franchise evolved. Today, the Green Hornets focus on providing a safe, enjoyable environment where young people can participate, learn, and build experience that may carry into high school.

The program offers youth football and cheerleading, with football participants receiving supplied equipment and eight games with guaranteed playing time. Games are held on weekends, and home games take place at Lakeview, South Lake, and Lake Shore High Schools. Practices are held at Kennedy Middle School. The organization shares registration instructions, season pricing, league age and weight information, schedules, results, and coaching and board details to support families. It also provides event and equipment-handout information, photo galleries, and field-status updates.
